Therapy grounded in curiosity and compassion.

I've always been fascinated by human behavior — the deeper reasons behind why we are the way we are. Born and raised in Northern New Mexico to immigrant parents, I spent my teenage and young adult years in Copenhagen, Denmark before returning home to pursue my passion for working with people.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a neuroscience focus and a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work. My clinical specialties include complex trauma, neurodiversity, and self-esteem. I'm a strong believer in creating meaningful accommodations and approach my work with compassion, curiosity, and acceptance at the forefront.

I work especially well with individuals who intellectually understand the "why" behind their patterns but find themselves unable to shift into alignment with who they want to be or how they want to live — whether that shows up as anxiety, depression-related lack of motivation, unresolved trauma, or ongoing painful dynamics.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with evidence-based bottom-up processing to release and transform deeply stored emotional and physiological responses. In our work together, we first explore the "why," then move into the "how," and ultimately work toward releasing the "what was" — so you can move forward with greater clarity and freedom.

I also love working with couples. I believe humans are wired for connection, and that unhealthy relationship dynamics are often learned rather than chosen. Through strengthening communication and expanding emotional capacity, I help couples build a strong sense of self while fostering bonds that feel healthy, reliable, and trustworthy.

Therapy in motion.

Walk & Talk therapy is exactly what it sounds like — we walk side by side through the natural landscape of Taos while we talk. Movement can unlock what sitting still sometimes can't, settling the nervous system and creating space for more natural, embodied conversation.

This format is available exclusively for in-person clients in Taos. It's particularly effective for those who find traditional office settings uncomfortable, or who simply do their best thinking when they're moving.

Therapy that meets
you exactly where
you are.

My approach is integrative — grounded in both cognitive and somatic work, and always adapted to how you specifically think, feel, and process. There is no one-size-fits-all here.

01

Explore the Why

We begin by understanding the roots of your patterns — with curiosity, not judgment. Making sense of where you've been is the foundation for everything that follows.

02

Work Through the How

Using CBT, EMDR, and somatic approaches, we move from insight into active processing — releasing what's stored in both the mind and the body.

03

Release the What Was

We work toward accepting what happened — not to minimize it, but to loosen its grip — so you can move forward with greater clarity and freedom.

04

Live in Alignment

The goal isn't just feeling better — it's becoming who you already know yourself to be. We close the gap between understanding and living it.
